About the Book
Every little girl dreams of the fairytale. The one where the white knight rushes in to save her from the clutches of evil. They fall in love, have babies, and live happily ever after.
By that definition, my life should have been a fairytale too.
When I was eight years old, Caven Hunt saved me from the worst kind of evil to walk the Earth. It didn’t matter that I was a kid. I fell in love with him all the same.
But that was where my fairytale ended.
Years later, a one-night stand during the darkest time imaginable gave us a little girl. It was nothing compared to the pitch black that consumed me when I was forced to leave her with Caven for good.
At the end of every fairytale, the happily-ever-after is the one thing that remains consistent. It wasn’t going to be mine, but there hadn’t been a night that passed where I hadn’t prayed that it would be hers.
I owed Caven my life.
However, I owed that innocent child more.
And that included ripping the heart from my chest and facing her father again.

This is one of those books that was recommended to me by my sister in law and I always take her recommendations to heart because there has NEVER been a book or author she has told me to check out that I haven’t fallen in love with. I am SO GLAD that Aly Martinez has her books on Kindle Unlimited, because I have a feeling I am going to devour them! Well, probably not as quickly as I normally would because I now have a job and I can’t very well read books while waiting on tables. I mean, I could, but tips wouldn’t be that great and I’m sure my customers wouldn’t appreciate that too much!
From the very beginning of Written With Regret I knew I was going to be hooked. When Caven named Rosalee, I knew I was going to not be able to put the book down. My daughter’s name is Rosalie!
I had a feeling there was going to be something big at the end of this book, simply because my sister in law told me that Aly Martinez typically leaves her books with HUGE cliff hangers and then has a new book in a month or so. I was NOT expecting the ending of this book, however!
I don’t want to talk about the plot of this book, because it’s one of those books you need to experience on your own!
Once I finished Written With Regret, I immediately went back to Amazon to download Written With You (Book #2 in this duet) so it could download on my kindle and I could start it! Currently only 7% into that one, but I’ll have it finished tomorrow possibly! Stay tuned for that review also!
