Transferring Books from PC to Kindle

Good morning! I have had quite a few people asking exactly how I get all these books from authors on my kindle when they email them to me, which is how most of my books get to me that I am going to review! I am going to do a small, hopefully, easy to understand tutorial for you!

It’s all really quite easy, once you get the hang of it! Every kindle account has it’s own @kindle.com email address, so first, you’re going to want to know what that email is!

Go into your Amazon account, and scroll until you find Digital content and devices > Manage Content and Devices. Click Manage Content and Devices.

You’re going to want to click on Preferences.

Now you want to scroll down until you see Personal Document Settings. You’re going to stay on the same page when you click that, but this next page is where you will find your personal @kindle.com email and where you can add emails that can send you books!

I would personally recommend adding all of the domains, such as @gmail.com @yahoo.com and @hotmail.com so if someone uses one of those domains as their email provider, you don’t have to add each individual email address, you can just say you already have it and you’ll get books from them! Now if I was an author and used my email for this blog to send books, you would want to add my email (jessica(at)hooksandbooks.com) but since I am not an author, you don’t have to worry about that!

I hope this tutorial has helped you and if you have any questions, please feel free to drop a comment and I will answer for you!
