Eat Play Sleep Repeat

I made the first of these blankets in July of 2014, as a first birthday gift for my cousin’s little boy, who is a few months younger than Rosalie. This was honestly the most complicated blanket that I had ever done, and it was the very first (and I believe only one to date) that I have done that had the bobble stitch incorporated into the pattern. I love the look that the bobble stitch gives blankets.

The first blanket that I made from this pattern was made for someone. The second one, I just made because I had been wanting to make another one since the first one, but I never really got around to it. I made the first one in just under a month, and with the second one, I was able to cut about a week off the finish time and was able to complete that one in just under 3 weeks.

They work up so quickly, but with life, work and all that good stuff, I couldn’t work on it constantly. I guess the good thing about working on a blanket is that it does get me off Fortnite more, haha!

The yellow, blue and green blanket is currently for sale on my Etsy Shop. It uses a full skein of each color (in this case – I used 2 skeins of blue) and about half a skein of white.
